Leitmotif Mortimer Graves
"Das ungleiche Paar der Detektive Fairchild (Stefan Müller-Doriat) und Shepherd (Patrick Loose) trifft am Tatort ihres ersten gemeinsamen Falls ein. Die Ermittlungen im Fall des toten Hotelmanagers deuten auf Selbstmord hin. Aber Fairchild entdeckt Ungereimtheiten, die ihn an den Todesumständen zweifeln lassen. War es vielleicht doch kaltblütiger Mord?"
Morti's Law is an award-winning short movie, in which I had the opportunity to score music and do some of the sound design. The Project was very extensive not only due to the long playtime (~20 minutes), but also because of fancy scenes like a bullet approaching in slow-motion. Fun Fact: To give the actors a more realistic feeling while performing, I had the honor to slide in the body bag!
The Score mainly consists out of two leitmotifs, the one of morti and the one of detective shepherd. Later in the movie the story conveighs that these two are strongly connected, and also the two leitmotifs fuse in harmony.
